---An Important Announcement---

from Franciscan Peace Center, Inc.

Everything has its time

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to break down, and a time to build up.
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing…

                                                                         Ecclesiastes 3

It is time.

For seven years we have sailed our ship of peace. We have shared our Franciscan vision of a peaceful global community. We have promoted a nonviolent way of life. We found what was ours to do. We now know it is time to pass on the torch and fan the flames of other peace and justice groups.

We have met and worked with many wonderful organizations and people who have similar visions. Our partnership with each and all proves that cooperation, compassion, dignity, equality, simplicity and kinship with all creation are alive and attainable. Seek and you shall find.

Our special thanks to everyone who accompanied us on this journey by: contributing to our coffer; attending our events; sharing faith traditions; partnering with us; flying the peace dove; walking your dogs at Paws for Peace; educating us on nonviolent ways of living; dancing for peace; and playing cooperative games.

Stay tuned for a list of available merchandise (books, t-shirts, etc.) and recipients of our remaining funds.

Peace and all good!
